Sister Alma was a lifelong educator. She taught in many schools in Louisville, KY. She taught locally at St. Augustine School in Lebanon in 1976 and 1983.

She was preceded in death by her parents: James Tolbert & Mary Nell Hidgon Riggs
4 Sisters: Mary Ellen Thompson, Anna Corean Riggs, Theresa E. "Tar" Masterson & Marguerite Riggs Ryan
3 Brothers: William Talmadge "Jackie" Riggs, John Milton "Dickie" Riggs & James Tolbert "Jimmy T." Riggs.

She is survived by her sister: Josie Riggs of Loretto, KY. Many Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Visitation is 2-9 PM Monday with a wake at 7 PM.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church. Burial will follow at the Motherhouse Cemetery
