Michael "Adolph" Williams, 72, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday September 20th. Born November 28, 1949, in Lebanon, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charles Ernest Williams and Pearl Anne Williams. He is preceded in death by his brother Donnie Ray Williams, sister Peggy Geer, and sister Betty Elder.

Adolph retired from General Electric after working there for 38 years in production.  He volunteered with the Sisters of Nazareth and loved helping other people in need. Adolph was a member of St. Joseph Church in Sellersburg, IN. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with family and attending his grandson's sporting events and musical performances.

Adolph is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Connie (Leake) Williams; along with two children; Scotty (Melissa) Williams of Sellersburg, IN and Ashley Overberg of Louisville KY; two grandchildren, Kye and Quinn Williams; and many loving sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and relatives.

A memorial mass for Adolph Williams will be held at 11 am Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Saint Francis Xavier Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick. Rev. David Naylor will officiate.  Committal Rites will follow in the church cemetery.

A memorial visitation will be held 1pm - 8 pm on Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Rd. Loretto, KY with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.   The prayer service and memorial mass will be livestreamed onto the Mattingly Funeral Home Facebook page.
