Amber Leigh Thompson Perez, age 33 of Marion County, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 as a result of a car accident.  She was born September 8, 1989 in Marion County.  She had a strong faith in God.  She was loved by many.  She loved everyone she met.  She was fond of animals.

Amber was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Chester and Lillian Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, Alberto Perez of Hodgenville; four beautiful children, Aubrey Benningfield of Lebanon, Amiah, Armando and Aleigha Perez, all of Hodgenville; her parents, Brenda and Jimmy Rogers of Alabama and Mitchell and Kitty Thompson of Bradfordsville; one sister, Tiffany Thompson (Joe Craig Mattingly) of Springfield; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Audrey Kirkland of Calvary; nieces and nephew, Josie and Katelyn Murphy, Jaxton and Macie Mattingly, all of Springfield.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Monday, October 10, 2022 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Rev. Troy Mattingly will officiate.  Burial will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 pm Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Derek Adams, Jerry Lee Kirkland, Josh Wise, Alberto Perez, Kameron Leake, and David Thompson.
