Anne Lee Parrott ("Momma Anne") died peacefully October 5, 2012, at the age of 95 at the Genesis Health Care in Severna Park, MD.
Born September 11, 1917, Anne was the last to pass away of 11 siblings born to Annie and Abell Lee of Raywick, KY. A graduate of Mt. St. Josephs in Owensboro, KY, Anne was a devout Catholic who devoted her life to her family, her church and her friends. Over her life, Anne resided in Raywick and Louisville, KY; Clarksville, Palmyra and New Albany, IN; and Baltimore and Severna Park, MD.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Marvin "Polly" Parrott, her daughter-in-law, Marie; her eldest son, James "Jim"; and her granddaughter, Patty Sheehan.
Through her long and happy life, Anne played a large and important role in the lives of four generations of her family. She is survived by her son, Wayne (Susie); her grandchildren Kateri (Jeff) Callahan, Jim Parrott, Jr. (Vicki), Wayne Parrott, Jr. (Debbi), Beth (Paul) Torp, Joan (Andy) Payne, Joanne (Danny) McTavish; her great-grandchildren Bruce, Ryan and Lauren Sheehan;
Chris and Samantha Parrott; Conrey and Chris Callahan; Tiffany and Krista Parrott; Maria and Nick Payne; Heather (Scott) and Zachary Torp; and, Meghan, Kyle and Chris McTavish; and her great-great grandchildren Hayden Weaver, and Keegan and Fiona Sheehan.
A mass to celebrate Anne's life will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church in Raywick, KY on Friday, October 19, 2012, at 11:00 a.m.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations in Anne's name be made to a favorite charity.
