April Jo Hardin, age 44 of Lebanon, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.  She was born April 6, 1979, in Marion County.  She was a former Tack Van Driver.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.  She enjoyed crocheting.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she had recently been rebaptized.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Edward Joseph and Cinda Jo Hardin Smothers.

Survivors include one son, Dakota Lee Hardin (Madison) of Lebanon, one grandson, Joseph Levi Hardin; one step grandson, Isaiah; her sister and best friend, Jo Lynn Smothers (Toby Lee Reardon, Sr.) of Lebanon; her former husband, Lee Hardin of Lebanon; her special frends, Donna Skaggs and Alyshia Tims.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Friday, October 27, 2023, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Rev. Bill Proctor will officiate.  Interment will follow in Ryder Cemetery. A bereavement meal will be hosted by Central Baptist Church where food dishes may be brought.

Visitation is 9 am – 11 am Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Robert Smothers, Jason Reardon, Weston Kemp, Brandon Hardin, Ronnie Junior Spalding, and Richard Whiting.
