Betty Jean Green, age 72 of Lebanon, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville. She was born October 26, 1948 in Marion County to the late Arthur and Josephine Cambron Gootee. She was a former employee of Rosewood Golf Course and a former decorator with Goodin Home Center.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Gerald Green; one daughter, Deborah Lynn Bell (Clarence) of Lebanon; two sisters, Darlene Reid (Helman) of Holy Cross and Mary Gootee of Shelbyville; three brothers, James Gootee (Terry) of Lebanon, David Gootee of Raywick and Mike Gootee (Janet) of Lebanon; her dog Gabrielle.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Brian Mattingly will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Manton.

Visitation is 9-11 am Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to 60 % occupancy, the unvaccinated are required to wear a face covering, and food and drink are prohibited inside the funeral home.
