Beulah Mae Hardin, age 79 of Loretto, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab.
She was born August 31, 1937 in Marion County to the late James and Emma O'Daniel Simpson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Everett Hardin, Sr.; two infant grandchildren, Julia Paige and James Cody Hardin; two infant great-grandson, James Sawyer Wheeler and baby Ford; one sister, Doris Marie Ruley; three brothers, J.E., Ricky and Mike Simpson; step-father, James Tinnell;
son-in-law, Jackie Byrd.
Survivors include four daughters, Laura Dulmaine (Mike), Mary Ellen Hutchins (Ronnie) and Marie Helen Hardin (J.R.) all of Loretto and Cindy Byrd of Willisburg; two sons, Kenny Patrick Stayton of Perryville and James Everett Hardin, Jr. (Sharon) of Lebanon; seven grandchildren, James Everett Hardin III, Abigail Hardin Fulkerson, Heather Byrd, Brittany Byrd, Jonathan Thompson, Megan Thompson and Blake Ford; five great-grandchildren, Elijah Zane Wheeler, Isaac and Madelyn Fulkerson and Colton and Caiden Shively; four sisters, Clara Jean Rogers (Lee), Catherine Gartland (Keith), Rita Peake and Helen Kappell (Eddie) all of Bardstown; three brothers, Freddy Simpson (Jenny), Tommy Simpson and Steve Simpson all of Bardstown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto. The Rev. Bryan Lamberson will preside. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 1-8 PM Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM by Deacon Donnie Coulter.
