William Bernard "Billy" Clements, age 86 of Raywick, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 25, 1931 in Marion County. He was a lifelong farmer; a veteran of the U.S. Army; a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church; a beloved husband, father and grandfather who was lovingly called "Daddy Bill".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard A. and Mae Mann Clements; five sisters, Cecilia Thompson, Dorothy Mae Mattingly, Geraldine Abell, Kathleen Campbell and Theresa Jane Hanson; one brother, J.L. Clements.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Juanita Newton Clements; six sons, Rick Clements (Gail), Mike Clements (Robbin) and Doug Clements (Gayla) all of Mount Washington, Jimmy Clements (Julie), Lewis Clements (Jessie) and Scottie Clements all of Raywick; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Saint Francis Xavier Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick. Rev. David Naylor will preside. Burial will follow in Lebanon National Cemetery where military rites will be performed by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a 7 PM prayer service by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

His sons will serve as pallbearers and his grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
