February 1, 1926 – July 27, 2019
Thelma "Bonnie" Mattingly, age 93 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Norton Women's & Children's Hospital. She was a native of Marion County, born February 1, 1926 to the late Francis Bernard Cahoe, Sr. and Mary Gertrude Nalley Cahoe. She enjoyed quilting, reading and watching television and she loved visiting her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cleophas Mattingly, Sr. (2008); one daughter, Linda Victoria Mattingly; four sons, Francis Ernest, Stanley Carmen, Ronald Blaine and infant William Eric Mattingly; four sisters, Bernice Brown, Gertrude Bagwell, Sharmaine Dencoff and Arietta Stastyshyn; five brothers, Forrest, Francis B. Jr., Charles T., Hugh F. and James Paul Cahoe.
Survivors include six daughters, Connie Dixon and Becky Cox, both of Louisville, Mary Ann Blair and Bessie Peterson, both of Lebanon, Debbie Carter (David) of Lancaster and Margo Trapp (Rick) of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son, Joe Mattingly (Sherri) of Mount Washington; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; one brother, Carmen Cahoe (Jeanette) of Louisville.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate. Burial will follow in Saint Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
Visitation is 10 AM until 2 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
