Dennis Brandon Hicks, age 36 of Holy Cross, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at his home.  He was born June 10, 1986 in Marion County.  He was employed with R. J. Corman Railroad Group in Nicholasville.  He was a former employee of American Greetings in Bardstown.  He had a big heart and a good sense of humor.  He seemed to know everybody.  He enjoyed music and fast cars.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph A. and Mary Louise Jackson Hicks and J. R. and Jane Newton Clark.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Kaye Hicks (Joe Bartley) of Holy Cross; his father, Joseph Neal Clark of Holy Cross; his sister, Cassie Brady (Justin) of St. Joe.

Brandon's funeral mass will be held at 10 am Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto.  Rev. Richard Goodin will officiate.  Cremation will follow the funeral.

Visitation is 3-8 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM.  Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate with Bro. Luke Armour assisting.  The prayer service and funeral service will be livestreamed onto the Mattingly Funeral Home Facebook page.

Pallbearers are Rob Wathen, Shea Bowman, Travis Delk, Travis Bartley, Jeremy Bartley, Chris Hardesty and Joey Newton.
