Brian Jay Hatt, 51, of Raywick, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. Brian was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be remembered for his humor, caring heart, and dedication to helping others. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and continued a life of service as a volunteer firefighter with the Raywick Fire Department. His quick wit, kindness, and willingness to lend a hand touched everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tonya Hatt; his children, Austin (Katie) Hinshaw, Autumn Hatt, and Alayna Willson; and his cherished grandchildren, Evelyn Willson and Jaycee Hinshaw. Brian's love for his family was evident in all that he did, and he will be deeply missed by them and by his many friends. Brian's memory will live on in the laughter, love, and stories he leaves behind.
Funeral Services for Brian Jay Hatt will be held at 2 pm Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Marion County Events Center, 101 Independence Drive in Lebanon. Rev. Dan Durham will officiate. Interment will follow in Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick, where firefighters' rites will be conducted.
The visitation is 3-8 pm Friday and 9 am - 2 pm Saturday at the Marion County Events Center. Mattingly Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Pallbearers are Matthew Riggs, Jonathan Riggs, Michael Blevins, Josh Coyle, Frank Skimmerhorn, Craig Mattingly, Blake Blandford, and Austin Hinshaw. Honorary Pallbearers are Leonard Winkler, Herman Riggs, Don Blanford, Katie Hinshaw, Autumn Hatt, and Alayna Willson.
