Cara Elizabeth Bartley, age 26 of Loretto, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021. She was born November 5, 1994 in Nelson County. She formerly showed Quarter Horses. She loved the lake and spending time with family and friends.

Cara was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Carlos Humphrey, and Bucky Bartley. Survivors include her mother, Carla Humphrey Edelen of Loretto; her father, Joey Bartley of Bardstown; her grandmothers, Pat Mann (Larry) of Bardstown and Mary Jo Bartley of Bardstown; two children, Kannon Trey Yankey and Willow Grace Bartley; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Pastor Danny Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow in Saint Francis of Assisi Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 PM Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Joey Bartley, Johnny Bartley, Kenneth Tucker, Carl Williams, Travis Couch and Chuck Cook.

Memorials may go toward funeral expenses and may be made at the funeral home or at mattinglyfuneralhome.com.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to 60 % occupancy, face coverings are required, and food and drink are prohibited.
