Joseph Carl Hagan, age 80 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Baptist Health Louisville.

He was born November 20, 1935 in Washington County. He was a retired employee of Boland-Maloney Company in Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine Corbett Hagan; parents, Joseph Adolphus and Mary Teresa Cecil Hagan; two brothers, Gerald and Raymond Hagan.

Survivors include two daughters, Carla Crecelius (Mike) and Ruth Ann Hagan all of Louisville; one son, Jerry Hagan (Debbie) of Mount Washington; three sisters, Bernadine Downs (Lorenza), Shirley Greenwell and Jane Smith (Bud) all of Louisville; one brother, Leroy Hagan (Barbara Ann) of Louisville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 6964 Cissellville Road, Manton, KY, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Matt Hardesty will officiate.

Visitation is 4-8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM.

Pallbearers are Brad Hagan, Doug Rogers, Mike Greenwell, Louie Greenwell, Zack Straub and Tom Edelen.
