Carl Ray Tharp, age 51 of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1970 in Marion County. He was a former factory worker. He enjoyed hard rock music and he loved to draw.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Rogers; five siblings, Joseph Eugene Rogers, Betty Lou Garrett, Charles Gilbert Rogers, Patti Jo Todd and Nellie Wells.

Survivors include four children, Destiny Tharp, Bethany Tharp, Nicholas Tharp (Tracy) and Serenity Crain, all of Las Vegas, Nevada; seven grandchildren; his mother, Para Lee Brown Hawkins of Shelbyville; five siblings, Charles Eugene Tharp (Sherie) and Tammy Brown all of Campbellsville, Carrie Mann (Tony) of Lebanon, Linda Keown of Louisville and Gertrude Madison of Elizabethtown; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 5 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Bro. Raymond Holland will officiate. Burial will follow in Benningfield Cemetery.

Visitation is 2 – 5 PM Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
