Carol Ann Kokocinski

Carol Kokocinski, 82, of Loretto, passed away on July 13, 2026, at the Loretto Living Center. Born February 20, 1944, in Dunkirk, New York, she was a retired employee of the Sisters of Loretto and teacher for deaf children. She spent 12 years as a Sister of St. Joseph of Buffalo, NY before coming to Kentucky. Carol was a lover of nature and someone who spent much of her time reading scripture and learning as much as she could about the lives and times of the prophets and saints in the Bible. 

Survivors include her nephew, Michael Kokocinski, her niece Mary Ann Bowlin, Anne Kokocinski, her brother’s wife, many cousins and her great nieces and great nephew.

Funeral Services are pending. Interment will be in Loretto Woods Natural Cemetery.
