Obituary
William "Chad" Leake, age 52 of Springfield, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at his residence.
He was born August 26, 1961 in Marion County. He formerly worked as a Machinist with Conco Inc. in Louisville and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Purvis Leake, his parents, Charles Ray and Rosemary Bradshaw Leake of Springfield,
two daughters, Amanda Thompson (Joe Pat) and Nikki Leake all of New Haven, one son, Stephen Leake of New Haven, four grandchildren, one stepson, Anthony Ayers of Louisville, one step-grandson and many nieces and nephews, four sisters, Marlene Bennett of Louisville, Patty Spalding (Joe Lee)and Leah Gerage all of Bardstown and Rosanne Mercer (Doug) of Louisville, two brothers, Chuck Leake (Brenda) and Zane Leake (Peggy) all of Bardstown.
Funeral Services will be 11 AM Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, followed by cremation. Rev. Terry Bradshaw will officiate.
Visitation is 2-9 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 PM conducted by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Memorial Donations may go toward Funeral Expenses.
