Chansler Stephen Hackney, age 30 of Raywick, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at UK Medical Center due to an auto accident. He was born March 26, 1994 in Danville. He was employed with Earthworks Construction in Bardstown. He was a hard worker and spent much of his time helping others. He was very dedicated to his family, especially his daughters. He was a Baptist by faith.
Chansler was preceded in death by his two grandparents, George Brown and Viola Fields; one uncle, John Brown.
Survivors include his fiancé, Jennifer Cook; two daughters, Amelia Grace and Olivia Faith Hackney; his parents, Stephanie Brown and Chris Fields of Raywick; three siblings, Josh Lawhorn and Jon Hicks, both of Raywick and Shayna Halcomb (Rob) of Lebanon; four nieces and nephews, Jayla, Jaxon, Jace, and Jaydon; grandparents, Molly Brown of Campbellsville and Ricky Fields (Beverly) of Raywick.
Funeral Services for Chansler Stephen Hackney will be held at 2 pm Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Pastor Tim Lee Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Highview Methodist Church Cemetery in Raywick.
The visitation is 10 am – 2 pm Saturday at Mattingly Funeral Home
Memorials may go toward funeral expenses and may be made at the funeral home or at mattinglyfuneralhome.com.
Pallbearers are Shane Morris, Josh Lawhorn, Jon Hicks, Noah Gribbins, Larry Garrett, Alex Greer, and Cory Livers.
