Charles Noel "Junior" Reid, Jr., age 62, of Holy Cross, KY, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at his residence.
Born October 7, 1948 in Nelson County, KY, Mr. Reid was a retired employee of Jim Beam Brands in Clermont, KY, where he had worked for 35 years. He was also a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles Noel Reid Sr. and Annie Lily Downs Reid, his son: Robert Neale Reid and his sister: Mary Elizabeth Thomas.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years: Rita Willett Reid, 3 Daughters: Lori Feger (Tom) of Bardstown, KY, Lisa Miles (Joe Lawrence) of Bardstown, KY, Karen Reid at home, 1 Son: Jerry Reid (Shannon) of Greenbrier, KY., 9 Grandchildren and 1 Brother: Joseph Estil Reid (Jeannie) of Louisville, KY
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holy Cross, KY with Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle as Celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Visiting will be 3-8 PM Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, KY 40037. Prayers will be at 6 PM Tuesday with Rev. Deacon Edward Hutchins.
