Charles Wayne Rucker's Obituary
Charles Wayne Rucker, age 66 of Lebanon, received his wings to heaven Saturday morning, July 29, 2017 at Spring View Hospital.
Chuck was born March 8, 1951 in Marion County. He was a retired employee of Spring View Hospital where he worked in the Emergency Room. He will be remembered as a sweet, kind, loving man who was always laughing and joking, especially with his friends at Cedarwood Restaurant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Algeon Thomas and Helen Mattingly Rucker; his brother, Al "Huck" Rucker and his niece Mary Rucker.
Survivors include his sister, Rubalene Harrell Rucker of Bardstown and his aunt, Waniece Peake of Saint Francis and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Deacon Donald Coulter will preside.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM.
