Joseph C. "Chuck" Blanford, age 50 of Holy Cross, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at his residence.
He was born November 19, 1965 in Nelson County. He was a Farmer and an employee of Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Earl "Frankie" Blandford, Sr.; one brother, Earl Blanford, Jr.
Survivors include his mother, LaVerne Wortham Blanford of Holy Cross; two sisters, Cindy Hobbs (Mike) of New Haven and Denise Hagan (Louis) of Holy Cross; one brother, Greg Blanford of Holy Cross; one sister-in-law, Robin Blanford of Holy Cross; one niece, Renee Boblett; four nephews, Aaron Blanford, Chris Hagan, Blake Blanford and C. J. Baker; one great niece, Raegan Boblett; three great nephews, Isaac Hagan, Bryce Boblett and Luke Clark.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bryan T. Lamberson will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM.
Pallbearers are Greg Blanford, Louis Hagan, Mike Hobbs, Blake Blanford, Aaron Blanford and Chris Hagan.
