Mary Lucinda "Cindy" Hobbs, age 59 of Boston, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at her home.  She was born June 15, 1963 in Louisville.  She was raised in the Holy Cross community.  She worked as a cashier at Culver's Country Kwik Mart in Culvertown.  She enjoyed fishing and camping with family and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Hobbs (died May 25, 2020); her father, Francis Earl "Frankie" Blanford, Sr.; four siblings, Earl, Chuck and Greg Blanford and Denise Hagan.

Survivors include her mother, LaVern Wortham Blanford of Holy Cross and a host of nieces and nephews and lots of loving family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Friday, December 9, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto.  Rev. Richard Goodin will officiate.  Burial will follow in Saint Thomas Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 pm Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Deacon Donald Coulter.

Pallbearers are Nicholas White, Matthew White, Glenn White, Aaron Blanford, Dougie Miles and Blake Blanford.
