He was born October 5, 1927 in Marion County, KY.
He was a US Army veteron of World War II. He served as a Sergeant in Graves Registrations in the Quartermaster Corp. He was a Kentucky Colonel and Life Member of the VFW Post # 5910 in Lebanon, KY. He retired from Owens-Illinois in Bardstown after 21 years of service.
