Obituary
Constance Marie "Connie" Cissell, age 57 of Bardstown, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at her residence.
She was born September 25, 1955 in Nelson County and was a member of Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Hope.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jimmie T. and Louise Cecil Riggs.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Gary Jude Cissell, one son, Travis Cissell (Gayle) of Balltown, four daughters, Kerri Bowling (Dennis) of Howardstown, Jill Griffith (Ray) of Bardstown, Molly Keesy (Rob) of New Haven and Amy Cissell (Brandon Robinson) of Lexington, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight sisters, Bettye Lou Masterson (Boot), Shirley Hutchins (Eddie), Pat Bartley (Doc), Ginger Ayers(Don)and Sara Riggs all of New Hope, Lois O'Bryan (Jerry) of New Haven, Marinel Clark (Junie) of Cox's Creek and Sister Margaret Rae Riggs, SCN of Nazareth, three brothers, Jim Riggs (Edith) of Louisville, Jackie Riggs (Mary Ann) of Bardstown and Dickie Riggs of Cox's Creek.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 104 Church St., New Hope, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Ken Fortener will be the celebrant.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Thursday and 10-8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 6 PM by Rev. Deacon Eddie Hutchins.
