Damien Hayden Buckler, Jr., age 85, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY.
Born June 22, 1926 in Marion County, Mr. Buckler formerly operated Buckler Refrigeration, Inc. and was a member of Saint Augustine Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Damian Haydon and Emma Katherine Dant Buckler, three sisters, Mayola Graves, Inez Mattingly and Katherine Boldrick, two brothers, Charles Hayden Buckler and Joseph Lancaster Buckler.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Jeanne Howard Buckler, three sons, Richard and John Buckler both of Lebanon, Tony Buckler of Bardstown, three daughters, Margaret Blanford (Paul) of Lebanon, Marian Caldwell (Billy) of Calvary and Mary Ellen Wright (Ricky) of Calvary, 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren and 5 Step-Great-Grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Monday, September 19, 2011 at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, Lebanon, with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Gerald L. Bell will be the celebrant. Visiting is 4-9 PM Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with prayer services at 7 PM Sunday by Rev. Deacon Dennis May.
Pallbearers are Judge Exec. John G. Mattingly, Hunter Lyvers, Bo Wright, Billy Caldwell, Kyle Wright and Richie Buckler.
