Danny Lee O'Daniel, age 69 of Lebanon, died July 28, 2021, after a short battle with Lymphoma.

He retired from the Louisville Metro Housing Authority. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, carpentry, and home construction. He was a big UK wildcat fan. He always tried to help family and friends with their home projects and achieved his lifelong goal of owning his own small lake and beautiful lake house. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him well.

Danny was preceded in death by his son Danny Lee O'Daniel and his parents, Lawrence and Mary Ellen Miles O'Daniel.

Danny is survived by the love of his life, Nancy Moore; his dog and best friend "Bear"; his siblings, Joseph O'Daniel (Kathy), Stanley O'Daniel (Cathy), Joan Riddell (Tom) and Sue O'Daniel; his daughter, Michelle Blue (Tracy); three grandsons and one great-grandson; two uncles Tommy O'Daniel (Floretta) and Paul O'Daniel; two aunts, Teresa Belke and Geraldine Brooks and many nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate. Burial will follow in Haysville Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 am – 1 pm Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
