David Lee Flanagan, age 40 of Wichita, Kansas, passed away there on Thursday, July 18, 2019. He was born October 24, 1978 in Marion County.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Gerald Essex and Frances "Frank" Flanagan.

Survivors include his wife Morgan; four children, MaKyla, Kyla, Layla and David; his mother and father, Deborah Flanagan and Ray Essex; his grandmothers, Rebecca Jane Essex and Mary Ann Flanagan; three siblings; Jerry Essex, Nicole Essex-Curtis(Brian) and Kayla Essex; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will held at 7 PM Monday, July 22, 2019 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037.  Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.

Visitation is 3-7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
