Francis David Lyvers, age 65 of New Haven, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at his residence.
He was born December 17, 1950 in Holy Cross. He was a construction worker, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Catholic by Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Fabian and Leona Elizabeth Mattingly Lyvers; two brothers, Glenn Lyvers and infant Michael Anthony Lyvers.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Ballard (Glen) of Greenbrier; one son, Allen Lyvers of New Haven; seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ballard, Dayton Lyvers, Jessica Lyvers, Kenlee Lyvers, Harlee Lyvers, Braylee Lyvers and Clara Ballard; one step-granddaughter, Nikki Ballard; three sisters, Ann Bullock, Charlene Thrift (Bo) and Janice Maddox (Charles) all of Alabama; five brothers, Randall Lyvers (Carol) of Pensacola, Florida, Jimmy Lyvers of Bardstown, Leroy Lyvers (Rita) of Holy Cross, Larry Lyvers of New Haven and Marion Lyvers (Dee) of Springfield.
Visitation will be 3-8 PM Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM by The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of donor's choice.
