James "Dennis" Lee, age 64 of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at his home.  He was born August 4, 1960 in Marion County.  He formerly worked as a machinist with Avis Tool Works in Cox's Creek.  Dennis was a "jack of all trades" and would help anyone.  He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Mae Black Lee and his father, James Steele Lee.

Survivors include his mother, Delores Jean Morris Lee of Raywick; two children, Nikki Wheatley (Ryan Mattingly) and Tomas Gilmore, all of Lebanon; one grandson, Logan Wheatley of Lebanon; three sisters, Jeanette Stearman (Paul) of Summersville, Linda Lee of Raywick, and Susan Cambron of Lebanon; three brothers, Tommy Lee (Ann) of Lebanon, Jerry Lee of Raywick, and Kevin Lee (Renee) of Jessietown.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Very Rev. Scott J. Wimsett, V.F. will officiate.  Interment will follow in Peter Cemetery in Mackville.

The visitation is 4-8 pm Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are Kevin Lee, Tommy Lee, Jayme Bright, Chipper Moore, Carlos Hamilton, Jamie Daugherty, and Jerry Lee.

Honorary Pallbearers are his nieces and nephews: Chris Lee (Melissa), Dalton Stearman, Cody Goff, Zackary Goff, Charlee Cambron, Rochelle Lee, Morgan Lee, Kaitlin Lee, Kylee Hardin, Kara Hardin, Natasha Black, Jake Black, Josh Hall, Christian Black, and Calen Black.
