Richard Miles "Dickie" Osborne, age 74 of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at his home. He was born October 10, 1946, in Marion County. He was a retired employee of Angell Manufacturing with 40 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Miles "R.M." Osborne, Sr. and Loretta Cambron Osborne; his father and mother-in-law, Jerome and Monica Ballard.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Cindy Ballard Osborne; three children, Ricky Osborne (Carolyn) of Black Gnat, Belinda Bennett (Brad) of Campbellsville and Nicholas Osborne of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Mia, Link and Zack; two sisters, Cathy McRay (Ronnie) and Margaret Osborne, all of Lebanon; two brothers, Johnny Osborne (Pat) and Mike Osborne, all of Lebanon.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, October 8, 2021, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation is 3-8 pm Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm.
Pallbearers are Joe Miles, Robert Ballard, Brent McRay, Jason Ballard, Clayton Byrd and Darrel Ballard.
