Obituary
Donald Louis Fenwick, age 75 of Bardstown, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Life Care Center of Bardstown.
He was born February 28, 1939 in Marion County. He was a former employee of Johnson Controls in Louisville, a farmer, and an avid gardener and woodworker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Walter and Mary Frances Dant Fenwick, one brother, Jerry Fenwick and one brother-in-law, Junior Boblett.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Charlotte Hayden Fenwick; three daughters, Kim Hamilton (Keith), Karen O'Daniel (Mitchell) all of Lebanon, Beth Stratton (Ray) of Bardstown; three sons, David Fenwick and Robert Fenwick (Jackie) all of Bardstown, Paul Fenwick (Carla) of East View; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Becky Riggs (Buddy) and Sue Cissell (Danny) all of Holy Cross, Evelyn Boblett of Springfield; two brothers, Steve Fenwick (Bernadine) and Mike Fenwick (Cathy) all of Bardstown; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Fenwick of Bardstown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3560 N. Saint Francis Road, Loretto, with burial in Saint Francis of Assisi Cemetery Cemetery. Rev. Emil Kandor will be the celebrant.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Memorials may go to the American Heart Association,240 Whittington PKWY, Louisville, KY 40222
Pallbearers are Craig O'Daniel, Richard Hamilton, Zachary Stratton, DavVon Dorsey, Levi Stratton, Chase Stratton, Kyle Fenwick and Paul A. Fenwick.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ryan Fenwick, Eric Fenwick and Cody Goff.
