Dorothy Jeanette "Dot" Robey Henon, 68, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday at her residence. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be cherished by all.
Born January 1, 1943 in Marion County, she was a former employee of Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company and General Electric Appliance Park. She was a member of Mother Seton Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, William Lee "Bill" Henon, Jr., her son, William Lee "Johnny" Henon, III, parents, Joseph Albert Robey, Sr. and Mary Margaret Downs Robey, sister, Barbara Janice Nalley, two brothers, Robert Augustine "Bobbo" Robey and Joseph Albert "June Bug" Robey
Survivors include her daughter, Patty Henon of Louisville, four sons, Dewayne (Tammy), Jimmy, Lynn and Glen Henon, all of Louisville, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three sisters, Lois McGuire of Cox?s Creek, Margaret Lynn Henon of Louisville, Cindy Jones of Bardstown, two brothers, Joseph L. "Jodie" Robey and Pat Robey, both of Louisville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Saint Francis, with interment in the church cemetery. Visiting is 2-8 PM Thursday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N. Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, and 2-8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
