Obituary
Dorothy Ann Lyvers, age 78, of Holy Cross, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 at Village of Lebanon.
She was born September 25, 1933 in Raywick to the late William Bromie and Anna Elizabeth Morris Mattingly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Anthony Lyvers, her son, Bobby Lyvers, two infant daughters, Sonya Michelle and Mary Martha Lyvers, a grandson, Joshua Lyvers, three brothers, Anthony, Brown and Thomas Edwin Mattingly.
Survivors include five daughters, Jackie Lyvers of Lebanon, Juan Downs (Rick) of Lebanon, Rhonda Thomas (Donnie) of Louisville, Tammy Jeffries (James) of Crestwood, Tina Maria Lyvers of Loretto, one son, Chris Lyvers (Melissa) of Holy Cross, 13 Grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Friday, July 6, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holy Cross, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle will be the celebrant.
Visiting 3-8 PM Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM conducted by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Pallbearers are grandsons, Jason Lyvers, Robbie Lyvers, Ethan Boone, Derek Gibbs, Brent Gibbs and Kyle Thomas.
