Edith Jean Osbourne, age 78 of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at her home, with her family by her side.  She was born July 11, 1945, in Marion County to the late John Charles "J. C." Mattingly and Theresa Delores Johnson Mattingly.  She was a retired employee of Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Home.

Survivors include two sons, Joey Osbourne of San Francisco, California and John Osbourne (Ginger) of Louisville; two grandchildren, Kayla and Lindsey; one great granddaughter, Paisley; seven siblings, John R. Mattingly (Linda) of Lebanon, Frieda Ryan (Fred) and Michael Mattingly (Pam) all of Lexington, James "Jimmy" Mattingly of Harrodsburg, Paul Mattingly (Gail) and Arlene Buckler (Bill), all of Lebanon and Marlene Mattingly (Kristen Haney) of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be private on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Mattingly Funeral Home.  Charles A. Mattingly will officiate. Interment will follow in Saint Augustine Cemetery.
