Elizabeth Ann Ballard Pickerill, age 93 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Baptist Health Louisville.  She was born April 29, 1931 in Chicago, KY, now known as Saint Francis; the only child of Bettie Dant Ballard and James Webb Ballard; the granddaughter of Thomas Sidney Dant and Pius Proctor Ballard.  After Saint Francis High School graduation in 1949, she attended classes at Saint Catharine Junior College and worked at the Marion National Bank in Lebanon from 1950-1961.  In September 1961, she married Don Ovesen Pickerill.  They lived in Lexington and Louisville.  She was a member of Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church.  She is survived by her husband of 63 years.

There will be no visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto.  Rev. Richard Goodin will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
