Emily Brooke Shuck, age 18 of Calvary, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, due to an auto accident.  She was born January 29, 2005, in Marion County.  She formerly worked as a server at Huddle House.  She had also worked at TG KY and Hardee's.  She was a member of the 2023 class of Marion County High School where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.  She was a kind, giving, loving, awesome and beautiful soul.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas Jones; her great grandparents, Ola Gunter and Hazel and Ira Jones.

Survivors include her parents, Marshall and Aprile Jones Shuck of Calvary; two younger siblings, Ryan and Kelsi Shuck, both at home; her grandparents, Mary Martin Jones of Campbellsville and Glen and Karen Gunter Shuck of Lebanon; her great grandfather, Paul Gunter of Lebanon; A host of aunts, uncles and cousins; her special uncle, Dennis Shuck and a special aunt, Cheryl Daniel Shuck; Her faithful dog, Duece.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, January 3, 2023, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Bro. Eddie Gunter will officiate.  Interment will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

The visitation is from 4-8 pm Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.

Memorials may go toward funeral expenses.

The pallbearers are David Ramirez, Dennis Shuck, Ryan Shuck and Brittany Carter.
