Evelyn Marie Hutchins, age 76 of Holy Cross, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at her residence.

She was born September 30, 1940 in Clermont County, Ohio to the late Bill and Beulah Mae Steingruber Naegele. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hutchins (2013); a number of siblings and a great-grandson, Levi Hutchins.

Survivors include seven daughters; Cathy Willett (R.D.) of New Hope, Tina Hutchins of Boston, Carolyn Reid (Eddie) of Manton, Theresa Hutchins Shuler of Louisville, Kim Brady and Sandra Lynn Taylor (Louis) all of Holy Cross, Bonnie Jo Burns (Edward) of Clarkson; 37 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Cull (Vernon) of Amelia, Ohio; one brother, Joe Naegele of Boynton Beach, Florida; her caregiver, Pam Mattingly of Holy Cross.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bryan T. Lamberson will officiate.

Visitation is 2-8 PM Tuesday and 2-8 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM Wednesday by The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Her daughters will serve as pallbearers.
