Frances Isabel "Sissy" Barlow

Frances Isabel “Sissy” Barlow, 89, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center. Born March 22, 1937, in Marion County, she was a former employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company in Louisville. Sissy was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be fondly remembered by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Lee Barlow; her parents, Joseph Adrian and Janie Elizabeth Miles Mattingly; seven siblings, J. C. Nalley, Johnny Leo Mattingly, Lawrence Andrew Nalley, J. A. Mattingly, Mary Drury, Margaret Drury, and Louise Hundley.

Survivors include two sons, Garry Barlow (Anita) of Lebanon and Scott Barlow (Michelle) of Springfield; two grandchildren, Joshua Barlow (Mariah) of Louisville and Ashley Dotson (Jon) of Elk Horn; one great granddaughter, Aubrey Dotson; one brother, Herbert “Chip” Mattingly (Rilda) of Elizabethtown.

Funeral Services for Frances Isabel “Sissy” Barlow will be held at 11 am Monday, April 27, 2026, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate. Interment will follow in Ryder Cemetery.

The visitation is 4-8 pm Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 pm.
