Frances Rosetta Buckman, 81, of the Saint Joe community in Marion County, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 29, 1944, she was a former employee of Curtis Maruyasu America in Lebanon. Rosetta had a creative spirit and enjoyed spending her time painting. She was a devoted member of Saint Charles Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Drew Buckman who died January 31, 2017; her parents, Oldren Aloysius and Mary Caroline Clark Reynolds; one sister, Diane Thomas; one brother, James Oldren “Jimmy” Reynolds; one granddaughter, Jessica McRay; two great grandchildren, Aryonna McRay and Jaxson Tucker.

Survivors include one son, Eddie Buckman (Mindy) and two daughters, Lisa Buckman and Tammy Kinard (Ed), all of Saint Joe; eight grandchildren, Justin Brady, Johnathan Williamson, Blake Buckman, Adrienne Tucker, Candace Tucker, Lauren Townley, Allison Jones, Caroline Thompson; 12 great-grandchildren, Dominique Buckman, James Buckman, Chevy McRay, Molly Oakley, Scottie Townley, Fletcher Jones, Drew Thompson, Bentley Buckman, Sadie Brady, Emma Brady, Linnley Buckner, and Joanna Hope; one brother, Terry Reynolds of Raywick; five sisters, Judy Miles (Frankie) of Raywick, Sandy Mudd (Mike), Cindy Evans, and Janice Richerson (Jerry) all of Lebanon and Fayetta Livers of Manton; one sister-in-law, Kathleen Buckman of Lebanon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Monday, March 2, 2026, at Saint Charles Catholic Church, 675 Highway 327, Lebanon. The Very Rev. Scott J. Wimsett, V.F. will officiate. Interment will follow in Saint Joe Cemetery.

The visitation is 4-8 pm Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home and 9-11 am Monday at Saint Charles Catholic Church. There will be a prayer service Sunday at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Memorials may go to Saint Joe Community Center.

Pallbearers are Larry Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Stuart Richerson, Joshua Evans, Timmy Miles, and Brian Mudd.
