Frances Estella Carrico, 88, of Loretto, passed away at 1:50 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon, KY.
Born August 11, 1922 in Washington County, KY, Mrs. Carrico was a former employee of Makers Mark Distillery and member of Saint Francis of Assisi Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Russell Carrico, her parents, John Colbert and Mary Jo Murphy Nalley, 2 Sisters, Katherine Murphy and infant Martha Nalley, 3 Brothers, Joseph Leo Nalley and 2 infants, and a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Carrico and three brothers-in-law, Maurice Carrico, Jake Carrico and Robert Cambron.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Kenny) Harmon of Loretto, one granddaughter, Amanda Harmon of Loretto, and two grandsons, Shawn & Bryan Harmon both of Loretto, 1 brother, J. C. Nalley of Crestwood, KY,
six sisters-in-law, Helen (Jim) Smith and Rhudell (Charles) Fowler all of Louisville, Isabelle (Maurice) Begley, Louise Cambron and Clarine Carrico all of Springfield, and Molly Carrico, West Midland, England, and four brothers-in-law, Jimmy (Rebecca) Carrico, Leo (Regina) Carrico, Emanuel Carrico and Robert (Margaret) Carrico all of Springfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Friday, April 29, 2011 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Saint Francis, KY. Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle and Rev. James W. Graf will be the celebrants assisted by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Manton, KY. Visiting will be 2 PM till 8:30 PM Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, KY. Prayer Services will be held at 4:15 PM Thursday.
