Obituary

Frances Dianne Mattingly, 69, of Loretto, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Born on May 15, 1956, in Marion County, she was the former Director of Transportation for CATS in Lebanon. Earlier in her career, she worked as a customer service representative at Saint Martin de Porres Print Shop in New Hope. Dianne was a devoted mother and "Grammy" who deeply loved and cherished her family. She was a mentor to many, and to know her was truly to love her. She enjoyed traveling and was an active member of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where she volunteered faithfully at the parish picnic for many years and previously served on the parish council.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, William Ambrose "Bill" and Catherine Thelma Mattingly Raley; two brothers, John Bernard "John Bill" Raley and infant James Raley.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Randy Mattingly; three children, Theresa Mattingly of Springfield, Shannon Mattingly of New Hope, and Randy Mattingly, Jr. (Megan) of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three siblings, Joe Raley (Brenda) of Saint Francis, Margaret Hagan (Louis) of Holy Cross, and Debra Hill (David) of Saint Mary's.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Monday, December 29, 2025, at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto.  Rev. Richard T. Goodin will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The visitation is 3-8 pm Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are Tommy Downs, Andrew Donahue, Austin Donahue, Tristan Mattingly, Corey Hamilton, and Derek Smith; Honorary Pallbearers are Byron Mattingly, Weston Mattingly, Karstan Mattingly, Danielle Mattingly, Abbi Smith, Aspen Mattingly, Veda Mattingly, Hope O'Bryan, Lacey Mattingly, and Hadley Donahue.
