Obituary
George Russell Lewis, Sr., age 54, of Willisburg, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at his residence.
He was born May 15, 1958 in Louisville, KY. He was a former employee of Big O Tires in Bardstown and a Catholic by faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary "Net" Lampkin Lewis and step-fathers, John Lewis and Joseph Meece.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Burkhead Lewis, one daughter, Heather Lewis (Chris Curtsinger), one son G.R. Lewis (Brittany Johnson), three granddaughters, Kaitlyn Clark, Sarinity Clark and Kilee Johnson, all of Willisburg.
Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, followed by interment in Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield. Mr. Rick Burkhead will officiate.
Visiting 3-8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
Pallbearers are Tommy Lampkin, Chris Curtsinger, Chris Lewis, Patrick Lewis, Shawn Johnson and Mike Lewis.
Memorial donations may go to the family to help with burial expenses.
