Obituary
Geraldine "Jerri" Newton, 82, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville, IN.
Born January 28, 1930 in Louisville, KY, she was a former homemaker and a Catholic by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Derlin Newton and her parents, Thomas and Johnnie Ester Hall.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Sharp (Tony) of Jeffersonville, IN, two granddaughters, three great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Her funeral will be 11 AM Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with interment to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Manton. Rev. Chris Allegra will officiate.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
