Margaret "Geri May" Hanlon, age 50 of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.  She was born March 24, 1971, in Marion County.  Geri spent her life dedicated to her children and family and for so many she was a great friend.  She served others throughout her life in the healthcare industry and in childcare.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Geraldine Abell, Irvin Abell, Sr., Marguerite May and Steve May.

She is survived by her daughter, Alli Mattingly (Ben) and her son, Nathan Hanlon; her mother Tootie Wright, and her father Jimmy May; her stepmother, Joyce May and her stepfather, Jimmy Wright; her sister Jackie Wright (Michael) and her brother James Wright (Amber); two nieces, Taylor and Maggie Wright and one nephew Nolan Wright; former husband, Jonathan Hanlon.

A private funeral service will be held at 7 pm Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Mattingly Funeral Home.  Pastor Richie Buckler will officiate.  The service will be livestreamed onto the Mattingly Funeral Home Facebook page.  Cremation will follow the service.  There will be a memorial service held on a later date for extended family and friends.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be sent to Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, KY 40037 to assist her children in any medical or funeral costs incurred.
