Joseph Glenn Miller, age 69 of Saint Francis, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at University of Louisville Hospital.

Born on November 19, 1955, in Marion County, Glenn dedicated much of his life to his work as a machinist with Henry Vogt Machine Company in Louisville. Alongside his skilled trade, he was also a passionate farmer. Glenn's enthusiasm for hot rods was well known among family and friends, reflecting his love for craftsmanship and speed.  He will be remembered fondly for his hard work, dedication, and vibrant spirit.

Glenn was preceded in death by one son, James Elliott Miller; his parents, Herbert and Patsy Dant Miller; one brother, Greg Miller; one infant niece, Sophia MIller.

Survivors include one son, Jacob Miller (Lee) of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Brooke Cooper (Colt) of Springfield and Kaleb Miller of Bardstown; one great granddaughter, Arryn Layne Jones; one sister, Gail Miller of Loretto; two brothers, Louie Miller (Polly) and Herbie Miller (Vickie) all of Lebanon.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Glenn Miller will be held at 10 am Monday, July 7, 2025 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto.  Rev. Richard T. Goodin will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The visitation is 4-8 pm Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are Justin Miller, Bernie Thomas, Chris Spurling, Terry Mauney, Jacob Miller, and Herbert Miller; Honorary Pallbearers are Brooke Cooper, Tricia Filiatreau, Jaxson Miller, and Katie Hinshaw.
