Goebel Yaste, Jr., age 84 of Loretto, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at his residence.
He was born March 3, 1932 in Gravel Switch. He was a Farmer, a former School Bus Driver and a member of Stewart's Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Goebel Yaste, Sr. and Dolora Phillips Yaste; three sisters, Juanita Raley, Quinta Keith and Sadie Lee Yaste; two brothers, James and Bill Yaste; one grandson.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Faye Bland Yaste; two daughters, Carol Yaste of Springfield and Suzi Wilson (Eddie) of Mayfield; four sons, David and Mark Yaste, both of Lebanon, Dennis Yaste of Loretto and Kevin Yaste (Vickie) of Bowling Green; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lacheta Jarboe of Lebanon and Patty Morton (Craig) of Missouri; one brother, Vernon Yaste of Lexington.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Interment will follow in Saint Charles Cemetery. Pastor Dan Durham and The Rev. James W. Graf will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
