Harold Allen Mattingly, age 68 of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, as a result of a boating accident in Green River Lake.  He was born July 6, 1955, in Marion County.  He worked as a farmer, and he cut and sold wood.  He enjoyed fishing, horses, and fast cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Herbert and Annie Jacobs Mattingly; five siblings, Virginia Mae Stump, Mary Kathleen Mills, Joseph Larry Mattingly, David Lee Mattingly, and Thomas Franklin "Frankie" Mattingly.

Survivors include one son, Cameron Mattingly of Lebanon; three siblings, Bobby L. Mattingly (Beverly) of Lebanon, Brenda McElroy (Charles) of Finley, and John Dale Mattingly (Angela) of Mackville; several nieces and nephews including his "best buddy", Goose Mattingly; a special friend Joe Coulter.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Interment will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

The visitation is 10 am until 1 pm Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
