Obituary
Helen Ann Reynolds, S.L., age 96 of Nerinx, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary.
She was born May 17, 1918 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Thomas James and Marie Ellen Henessey Reynolds. She entered religious life in 1936 and received her final vows August 15, 1942. She earned her Master's Degree in Education from Saint Mary College in Xavier Kansas in 1962. Her assignments were in Missouri, California, Texas, Arizona, North Dakota and Colorado with much of her ministry devoted to Indian schools and later to training dogs for the hearing impaired. She moved to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2000.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx, with interment to follow in the Motherhouse cemetery.
A wake service will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday at the Motherhouse.
