Inez Hanlon, age 57 of Loretto, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at Springview Hospital.  She was born May 23, 1966, in Marion County.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed romance novels and Stephen King novels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Norma Jean Warner Hanlon; two sisters, Andrea Hanlon and Amy Jean Newton; four brothers, Mahlon, Maxi, Danny and Johnny Hanlon.

Survivors include her partner of more than 20 years, Joey Thomas; two sisters, Diane Smothers of Lebanon and Janice French of Louisville.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Smock's Chapel Cemetery in Loretto.  Mattingly Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
