James Lee "Jimmy" Reid

James Lee “Jimmy” Reid, 66, of Campbellsville, formerly of Holy Cross, passed away on July 8, 2026, at his residence. Born September 4, 1959, in Marion County, he was a retired employee of Jim Beam Distillery. In addition to his work there, he was a dedicated farmer who took great pride in the land he fondly called “God’s Country.”

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marilyn Culver Reid and his parents, Joseph Gerald “Buck” and Jewell Marie Hagan Reid.

Survivors include his daughter, Brandy Douglas of Lebanon; two granddaughters, Samantha and Kaylee; four sisters, Carol Edgington (Lee) of Winchester, Patsy Reid (Daniel Porter) of Lexington, Jane Kleyn of Springfield, and Annette Carpenter (Hoyt) of Winter Garden, Florida; four brothers, Eddie Reid (Carolyn) of Manton, Thomas Reid (Eva) of Georgetown, Paul Reid (Tammy) of Holy Cross, and Mark Reid (Elaine) of East Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Non-ceremonial cremation was chosen. Mattingly Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
