May 18, 1940 – October 10, 2025
James Marvin Reynolds, Jr., 85, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, at his home, with his family by his side. He was born May 18,1940 in Marion County. He was a retired employee of Heaven Hill Distillery with more than 40 years of employment. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Saint Augustine Catholic Church.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Carol Reynolds, who died March 11, 2022, his parents, James Marvin Reynolds, Sr. and Flora L. Brockman Reynolds; five siblings, Martha Jean Darnell, Eugene Reynolds, Juanita Thomas, Jerry Reynolds, and Deveral Cambron.
Survivors include three children, Steve Reynolds (Lisa) of Louisville, Rodney Reynolds (Michelle) of Lebanon, and Debbie Brahm of Loretto; seven grandchildren, Cody Brahm (Rachel), Thomas Brahm II (AnneMarie), Ann Morgan Nelson (Matt), McKenzie Reynolds (Dylan Pittman), Steven Reynolds (Lindsay), Jennifer Gray (Isaiah) and Lindsay Leake; eleven great grandchildren, Aria and Isla Nelson, Camden Stiles, Ava Reynolds, Lincoln and Houston Stith, Destiny (Austin), Brevin (McKenzie) and Elijah Tinker, and Kree and Reece Reynolds; several great-great grandchildren; two siblings, Anna Yvonne Reynolds and Charles Reynolds, both of Bardstown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Friday, October 17, 2025, at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 235 S. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon. Rev. Terry L. Bradshaw will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The visitation is 4-8 pm Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Dennis A. May.
Pallbearers are Steven Reynolds, Reece Reynolds, Cody Brahm, Matt Nelson, Camden Stiles, and Tom Brahm II.
